Legal Assistant
Amy Hunt joined the Dodd & Dodd team in 2023 as a Legal Assistant. Amy graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Louisville in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a minor in Social Change, and a certificate in Peace, Justice, and Conflict Transformation.
Prior to joining the team, Amy spent two and a half years working as a front-line social worker in the child welfare field. Amy’s varied experience working with children, families, and victims of domestic violence is an asset to our team and clients navigating Dependency, Neglect, and Abuse cases, as well as complex custody and divorce matters.
In her role as a Legal Assistant, Amy assists our team by communicating with clients, maintaining client files, assisting attorneys with hearing, trial, and document preparation, researching legal issues, upholding our confidentiality standards, and more. Amy is our office’s unofficial tech support and helps keep our team up to date on cutting-edge legal software. Amy is also a Notary Public.
When she is not working, Amy enjoys reading fiction novels, listening to true crime podcasts, and drinking local coffee.
